My Story

I began working at 13 in my family’s Mobil gas station and repair shop, where I developed a passion for automotive repair, becoming an expert mechanic and service manager. I continued this work through high school and college, earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Western Connecticut State University in 2000.

After earning my degree, I joined Reed Exhibitions (now RX Global) as a Directories Editor, managing the end-to-end production of trade show directories. This included coordinating with exhibitors for listings, overseeing graphic design, and handling print production and logistics. After two years, I took on a temporary role in the eSolutions department, covering for a web developer on maternity leave. With training in HTML, I maintained trade show websites while continuing to manage my directory portfolio. Upon her return, I transitioned full-time to eSolutions, quickly advancing to a senior role where I led two junior specialists.

After five years, I joined Town Fair Tire to lead the transformation of their digital marketing ecosystem, unifying social, email, and web strategies to enhance engagement and visibility. I built their e-commerce business from the ground up, collaborating closely with ownership to design and launch an online store. I assembled and led a team of back-end developers to create a suite of web-based applications for managing product catalogs, sales, shipping, reporting, and customer reviews. Following the successful launch, I was promoted to Director, overseeing social media and Google Ads with a $10 million annual budget. As the business grew, I proposed and launched an in-house call center, developing a proprietary web-based application to manage calls, assist reps, process orders, and track analytics.

In the next phase of my career, I joined HAI Group as part of the Marketing and Communications team, where I led the overhaul and unification of the company’s digital marketing ecosystem. I set a new strategic direction for their web presence, enhancing integration across websites, social media, email, and CRM systems. I managed a multidisciplinary team, combining internal talent with external partners to successfully deliver projects that strengthened the brand’s online visibility and improved user experience.

In my most recent role, I founded and operated a successful local service business while simultaneously delivering website development, SEO, and digital marketing services to clients across various industries. I managed all aspects of business operations—including marketing, customer relations, and team coordination—driving sustained growth and profitability. This success ultimately led to the profitable sale of the business. Throughout this time, I consistently honed my technical skills and digital marketing expertise to provide innovative, results-driven solutions for my clients.
